Bucket Club make adventurous theatre for audiences of all ages. Our work is playful and collaborative, placing its audience at its core. It’s often very funny, it’s usually very beautiful and it always involves live music and sound design.

The company is led by director and writer Nel Crouch. Associates include designer Rebecca Jane Wood, writer and dramaturg Marietta Kirkbride and composer David Ridley. We’re produced by Farnham Maltings.

Past shows have won awards including the Brighton Fringe Award for Excellence and the Musical Theatre Network Award for Innovation. Our most recent show was The Christmas Lobster, the Christmas show for Farnham Maltings.

Past shows include Five Children and It (The Egg, Theatre Royal Bath); Catch That Beast! (House/Birmingham Hippodrome tour); Launch Party (Farnham Maltings rural tour); Fossils (Brits Off Broadway/New Diorama); Lorraine & Alan (BAC, Tobacco Factory Theatres).

We are currently developing new ideas for young audiences.
